Leading the Way

Villages in Mar Bella Houston are part of the outstanding Clear Creek Independent School District (CCSID). For more than 60 years, Houston's CCSID has led the way in quality education. The district earned a Recognized rating in 2008, with 32 of 48 schools rated Exemplary or Recognized -- the top two rankings by the Texas Education Agency. CCISD has earned a Recognized rating for 11 of the past 12 years. Victory Lakes Intermediate and Clear Creek High School hold Acceptable Ratings from the Texas Education Agency, while Mossman Elementary just opened this year and has not yet been rated. Please see www.ccisd.net for more information.
College-age students can attend local universities and two-year colleges, including University of Houston Clear Lake, Texas A&M Galveston, College of the Mainland and San Jacinto Junior College.
The Education Village is the first campus of its kind in the state of Texas. The elementary school opened in the fall of 2009, while the intermediate and high schools will follow in 2010. Students living in the Villages of Mar Bella Houston will attend Education Village schools; Mossman Elementary School, Intermediate School #10 and High School #7. The Education Village's vision framework includes developing 21st century skills, community and leadership. While the schools will share the same site, each campus will be separate and students will not have access to other schools. For more information about the Education Village, click here.
